@OnAtuin I guess a downside to epiphytic cacti is a lot look similar when not flowering. Maybe that is why Epiphyllum anguliger is so popular. Rhipsalis mesembryanthemoides, Hatiora salicornioides and Lepismium bolivianum are other good species for looking striking when out of flower.
